Nine years in ecommerce analytics, building end to end: data collection, pipelines, transformation, and reporting. I've owned the full stack as a one-person data team, which means I know exactly where the numbers can go wrong and how to make sure they don't.
Architected and own the full web analytics data layer at Direct Wines: incremental session, transaction, and ecommerce models built on raw GA4 exports, with bot detection, schema-drift safeguards, and reusable pre-operations helpers. Powers reporting in Looker Studio and Power BI.
Replaced a brittle cron-based SFTP workflow with an event-driven pipeline: scheduled extraction lands files in GCS, Pub/Sub notifications trigger BigQuery transfers. Fewer moving parts, no silent failures.
I started in ecommerce and marketing analytics, but kept getting pulled toward the machinery underneath. What began as working with web analytics and customer behavior gradually turned into building the systems that make the data trustworthy in the first place. That's where I've landed, and where I do my best work.
Originally from Peru, now in Connecticut. Outside of work I'm a runner, a chronic tinkerer, and someone who tends to overcomplicate projects for the fun of figuring them out.
